I also slice apples on my mandoline and dry them in my dehydrator until they're crisp and crunchy. We all love them and I especially like them with homemade hummus.
I just put a couple of cups of chickpeas in the pot to soak overnight. Will make some hummus tomorrow and will use some of them for the Spicy Crunchy Chickpeas.
